​Intensive

A. DESCRIPTION

This one-day workshop is designed for the individual that is new to speaking or is already speaking but is scared, anxious or nervous to speak in front of audiences. Emphasis is on a nine-step process to help each participant become more comfortable with creating and presenting a portion of their signature speech so that they can take these skills and apply them to all speaking engagements, now and in the future.
 
This course is for you if:
  • You are speaking or wanting to speak but standing in front of peers or possible clients freaks you out.
  • You want to create a better presentation
  • You want to learn how you can better connect with your audience
  • You want to increase your authority, expertise and influence
 
This course is not for you if:
  • You are already a professional speaker with consistent paid speaking engagements
  • You are not willing to stretch your potential
  • You do not want any critiques
 
B. PREREQUISITES


  • Each participant should come prepared to actively participate in a group environment. 
  • Each participant will be working on a portion of his/her signature speech.
  • Each participant should come prepared with a section or portion of their signature talk (or speech) and brief notes of the important points you want to mention
 
C. ORGANIZATION
 
This workshop combines key insight from the instructor as well as participation from the participants in both writing and practice presentation.
 
 
D. COURSE OBJECTIVES


  1. To introduce the participants to the importance of speaking
  2. To share strategies to help the participant push through fear and anxiety
  3. To share techniques to help the participant speak with ease and comfort
  4. To share techniques to help the participant create a more interesting and intriguing presentation
